Women have always played a significant role in the early Church and even in the present Church as they have become a source of support to their spouse in ministry. Below is a list of the top three Pentecostal preachers in Nigeria and their various ministries. One unique feature connecting the three of them is the fact that they are all widows.
Pastor Nkechi Anayo Iloputaife
She is the wife of the founder of Faith Revival Ministries World Outreach Lagos Late Bishop Harford Iloputaife. A charismatic preacher with strong determination, zeal and passion for singles and youths, she remains a major force in the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria.
One of the features that sets her part, is her unique teaching exposition which has seen her been invited to conferences and seminars in Nigeria, Europe and all over the world. She is also the founder and president of “Handmaiden of God Ministry International”- a worldwide women ministry with branches all over Nigeria. Bishop Nkechi is a proud mother with two wonderful children- Helda and Chukwuebuka.
Bishop Margret Idahosa
She is the matriarch of the popular Idahosa family in Edo State Nigeria. Her husband- Bishop Benson Idahosa was the founding father of the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria. She took over the mantle of Leadership in the Church of God Mission International when her husband passed on to eternal glory on the 12th of March 1998.
A woman of great faith and diligence, she has made featured prominently in the growth of the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria with her erudite expository teachings and ministrations both in Nigeria and across the globe. She is the founder and president of Christian Women Fellowship International (CFWI). She ministers to women, youths and singles through convention and seminars.
Apostle Eunice Gordon Osagiede
Apostle Eunice Osagiede is a woman with the mandate to win souls for God through the instrumentality of undiluted word of God. She is the wife of the late Bishop Gordon Osagiede- president of the Spirit and Life Bible Church with headquarters in Benin City Edo State. She is an epitome of inner and outer beauty with a unique gift of prayers. Her calling led her to initiate the Godhead prayer ministry and the Jesus Women prayer band ministry.
Her passion for impacting the youths and singles with the grace of holiness and righteous living has made her a popular guest preacher in most convention and women seminars in Nigeria.
